I have an idea... Well I think I do...

     I have a plan for a week long blogging event. I will be living homeless for a week. The plan is to go out for a week and just try to survive with minimal supplies; in an area that is near a small island city. Now I know at this point some of you are like, "Why the hell would you want to do that?" and I'll be glad to tell you. Lately, I have been watching shows oriented towards surviving in the wild or surviving after a post apocalyptic scenario. And it got me thinking, "Can I do that?" Most people know that I am an Eagle Scout, and that I took part in many outdoor activities growing up. So I thought, with my knowledge and skills, I could probally last a week outdoors no problem. Of course now after saying that I will be on day 2 and I'll be like, "Damn I want to go home." Ha but I do think this will be a good test for me and it will give me some stuff to write about on The Start. I will be taking pictures, video, and I will be writing everything down. The supplies I plan to take with me are;

- (2) 32 oz. Water Bottle
- (2) 12 oz. Canned Tuna
- (1) 15 oz. Canned Peaches
- (1) Pocket Knife
- (1) Digital Camara
- (1) Bike
- (1) Backpack
- 2,000 Won (Approximately $1.87)
- (1) Toothbrush
- (1) Small Towel

And the clothes on my back; Dickie jeans, a t-shirt, a button shirt, and a sweatshirt. I will have my phone with me in case of emergencies, but it will be only on during the 7th day when I'm heading home. The place that I will be going to is on an island that is about 5 miles from my house. The island has a small mountain that has many trees, so that is probally where I will stay the first night. I aslo plan on not eating the day before.

     The idea of this project is to see if I can live off of the few things I bring with me and what I can find. This is basically a task for me to see if I am capable of doing something like this and something to share with you all after I come back. The day before I leave I will post a short blog about how I feel and my thoughts on what I will be doing the coming week.      As you can see, on PlayStation Network, I am a level 9 40% with 493 trophies. But only 3 of them are Platinums... I currently have a plat in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, inFamous, and FALLOUT 3. And I'm working for plats in Dead Nation, Dead Space 1, and 2. In Dead Nation I need like 6 more trophies; 4 of which are just playing the game on different difficulties and the other 2 are to finding loot and kill 53,596 zombies. In Dead Space 1, I need to beat the game on Impossible Mode and I am on Chapter 3, out of 12. In Dead Space 2, I have to beat the game on Hard Core Mode and kill a necromorph with every weapon. Hard Core is going to be pain in the ass; reason being is that you can only save 3 times and when you die you go back to a save point. And the other day I tried to see how far I could get and I made it to Chapter 4 and died... that isn't too bad, but there are 15 chapters...  After I beat it on HC, I will be rewarded with the Hand Cannon, which is a red foam finger. Start of April

I've decided to change up the blog a little bit. Im only going to post a few news stories, because I found myself only posting news on the blog instead of creative writing. Which is why I started this blog. I'm persusing a career in writing not news. I have plans on a few projects that I will write about... But ya so look forward to more of a personal blog :D
