China is yet again being accused for altering the age of 9 athletes on their Junior Chinese Skating Team. China has been found changing the age of their gymnasts in the past; in the 2000 Olympics China made the gymnasts appear older on paper to pass the minimum age requirements, which caused their medals to be taken away last year. But this time China seems to have made their skaters appear younger than they really are. I think if they look to old, then maybe they are to old. Here is a picture below of what I'm talking about...

This week in Newsweek Magazine; they listed the Top 10 "Dying" cities in America. Vallejo, CA was listed at number 2. The reason being was because of foreclosure. Newsweek stated that "even as recently as December, one in every 113 homes was foreclosed on, one of the highest rates in the country." Others around the Bay Area think that Vallejo isn't a dying city but a city that is rebuilding.
On February 5th, Carolina Panthers owner Jerry Richardson was heard talking poorly about Peyton Manning, quarterback for the Indianapolis Colts, and Drew Brees, quarterback for the New Orleans Saints. A source stated that at a NFL Players Association meeting Richardson "was extremely condescending to them, especially toward Peyton,” and he "was the only person on either side who was contentious. Everybody else was respectful." Peyton Manning was talking about player safety and was being heckled by Richardson. Being that Manning and Brees are both Super Bowl winners and potential Hall of Fame candidates; I would respect what they would have to say.
At the Design Innovate Create Explore summit last week; Blizzard head Mike Morhaime talked about the death of Starcraft Ghost. During the time that Starcraft Ghost was being made, so was WoW (World of Warcraft) and Starcraft 2. Unknowing that WoW's release would be such a huge hit, Blizzard thought that they had enough resources to make all three games, which came to be false. Morhaime said, "World of Warcraft exploded and we needed to make some resource decisions." This decision was to take the programmers from Starcraft Ghost and move them to WoW to help where they were needed. Personally I was looking forward to the console-based game, but understand it takes sacrifices to make awesome games; like Starcraft 2 and WoW (not that I play WoW). In other Blizzard news, on February 8th Blizzard celebrated their 20th year anniversary. Blizzard Entertainment has made a website dedicated to the celebration.

I remember when Starcraft: Ghost was announced and there was tons of gameplay footage. That is why video games will always make more money than movies in the long run. You can't scrap a movie 75% in and make it part of a better movie. Thats why when a bad game is so bad, you can tell how much work was put into it. Imagine if Ghost would have sucked AND WoW sucked. Kill one and the other gets stronger.
